Photo mode
The L-308x offers complete exposure control for outdoor or studio photographers. Flash and continuous light metering data are clearly displayed on the screen, along with ambient EV metering. In addition to shutter-priority mode, the new aperture-priority mode gives photographers worry-free metering when depth of field is critical.
HD cinema mode
Gives the camera a compact solution for locating locations or as a quick fix on the set. The 308x allows users to choose from a range of frame rates and shutter angles while accurately measuring within a tenth of a stop. Additionally, the addition of ISO 850 greatly assists camera operators by allowing them to take measurements within the native ISO values of most of today's professional cinema cameras.
