The VDIAGTOOL OT100 engine oil tester serves as a reference to assess whether the engine oil is still usable or needs to be replaced. It is primarily used to check the quality of the engine oil to ensure its functionality and driving safety.

1. Open the hood and locate the dipstick.
2. Press the power button to turn on the turbine oil detector.
3. Pull out the engine oil dipstick and insert the probe into the dipstick hole.
4. Click the button to change the turbine oil detection status;
5. Wait 10 seconds for the test results to appear, and then click the button to clear the results.
2. Note:
1. The OT100 water content indicator for checking oil quality can only test engine oil in gasoline vehicles and not in diesel vehicles.
2. Normal test range: 30%–100%;
3. If the oil level drops below 30%, the engine oil should be changed;
4. New engine oil will show 100%;
5. Before testing, ensure the engine temperature is below 60°C to prevent the probe from burning out;
6. The probe must be kept clean;
7. When testing, ensure the probe does not touch the bottom of the engine to avoid an inaccurate reading.
8. Ensure the battery is fully charged.
Explanation of Measurement Results:
1. Below 30% indicates high water content; it is recommended to change the engine oil.
2. Between 30% and 80%, your car's engine oil contains some water but may still function.
3. Above 80% indicates your engine oil is in good condition.
