Three common usage methods (the line must be turned off):
1. Locate underground cables
Use the red clip (red needle) to clamp the cable being located, and the black clip (black needle) to clamp the ground wire. The receiver tracks the signal along the line to locate the cable direction.
2. Locate short-circuit points of underground cables
Use the red clip/black clip to clamp the short-circuited cable separately, and adjust the sensitivity to an appropriate level. The receiver will beep before the short-circuit point and will not beep after the short-circuit point.
3. Locate underground cable break points
The red clip clamps the target line, the black clip clamps all remaining wires, and then connects the ground rod to the ground (good grounding is required). The receiver will beep before the break point and will not beep after the break point.
