How do I find the cable?
1. Turn on the receiver and swing it back and forth. You will hear the "Bi Bi Bi" sound.
``` 2. As you approach the breakpoint, the tone will weaken and then disappear.
3. When the tone disappears, it means the breakpoint is at that location.
How to improve the signal?
To amplify the signal, you can attach and connect a grounding bolt. (Screwdrivers or metal washers can be used as a medium for the grounding bolt.)
Notes:
1. Do not use on live circuits to avoid damaging the tester! Underground wire tracers are only used to locate a non-energized cable.
2. For single-core or double-core cables: Red alligator clips are the signal line. Black alligator clips are used to connect the ground or neutral line.
3. For shielded and multi-strand wires:
A: Due to signal interference, the breakpoint cannot be determined, but the line direction can be tested.
B: If the direction of the shielded wire is to be detected, the test lead should be used. Red clip to grip the shielding layer.
