This special tool is used for easily adjusting the camshaft to the crankshaft position and replaces the VAG electronic measuring tool with an electronic protractor.
The version offered here includes the basic tool for 1.5-liter TSI and TFSI engines and the extension for 1.0-liter, 1.2-liter, and 1.4-liter TSI and TFSI engines of the EA211 EVO2 generation.
The original VAG measuring system (611007) relies on software used via a PC or laptop. With this professionally and precisely manufactured special tool, it is possible to perform the basic adjustment using sensitive inclinometers.
However, this tool does not require an expensive digital connection. Thanks to this innovative solution, it is possible to work according to the repair manual.
