Application
Step 1: Simply place the tire lever on the rim, inserting the claws and breaker foot between the rim and the tire bead. Sometimes the striking plate needs to be tapped slightly to engage.
Step 2: Use an air ratchet or a manual screwdriver (both not included) to tighten the set screw and secure the hook on the inner rim. This also ensures the feet are securely pulled against the rim and bead.
Step 3: Use a pneumatic ratchet or a hand wrench (both not included) to turn the breaker nut 1-1/4 turns to drive the center foot into the bead. The two outer feet will grip the rim lip to break the bead.
Step 4: Once the bead is broken, pull back the center foot. Loosen the set screw to release the hook from the rim.
