Place 2, 3 drops of the sample on the main prism, close the plate and look through the viewing window to read the Brix value;
After the sample has been applied to the prism, the special optics of the refractometer generate opposing bright and dark fields. The boundary line between the two fields marks the sugar content of the sample.
CALIBRATION: Supports two calibration modes: The 78.8% Brix upper calibration line is suitable for clove oil calibration solution and requires an additional standard test block:
The lower calibration line consists of 65% Brix, a colorless and non-toxic calibration solution faintly scented with clove oil. Don't need a test block, it's more convenient and accurate.
If you don't have professional calibration equipment, please don't calibrate by yourself. You must not calibrate this refractometer with water.
