Growatt SPF 5000 ES off-grid inverter
The Growatt SPF 5000 ES is an inverter that can be used with or without a battery. The maximum input voltage is 450 VDC. By integrating an MPPT charge controller, the charging and discharging of the battery is optimized to ensure its longevity. Charging can preferably take place via the grid or a connected PV system. The system can also be monitored remotely via a WLAN or GPRS dongle. Parallelization is supported.
Charge controller
The MPPT charge controller lowers the panel voltage to the level required to charge the battery. The current increases in the same proportion as the voltage decreases. This process occurs continuously throughout the day to optimize energy consumption. This depends on the intensity of the sunlight, the angle, the temperature and the condition of the panels. The charge controller also ensures that the battery is neither overcharged nor completely discharged.
surveillance
Remote access to the inverter is possible with a separate dongle. WiFi and GPRS versions are available. The data can be viewed at any time and it can be determined whether the inverter is primarily supplied with power from the grid or the PV system.
Capacity expansion
By combining a total of six of these devices in parallel operation, the system output can be expanded to up to 30 kW.
