Daylight conditions with the long-life LED light source
Using continuous light is not only useful in video production. In photography, you have the illumination under continuous control with continuous light instead of flash. So you can focus your attention on the photography itself.
For continuous light photography, Godox VL 300 offers you lighting conditions that come very close to daylight even under studio conditions. The color temperature of the lamp is 5600 Kelvin and remains constant over the long term. With a CRI - as well as TLCI - value of 95, the Godox VL 300 belongs to the luminaires with high-precision color rendering. Even skin tones can be reproduced realistically with its help.
In addition, the continuous light convinces with all the advantages that LED lamps always offer. The light works extremely energy-efficiently: For the power of the formerly common 3000W halogen lamp, the LED continuous light only needs 300W. Its service life of up to 100000 hours is significantly higher than that of its predecessors. Because LED lights hardly develop any heat, the ventilating cooling system can also work so quietly that you only notice it in a whisper. Especially important for photographers and film producers: The LED light produces its light flicker-free.
Flexible lightweight with remote control
At 3.3 kilograms, the continuous light is particularly light in weight, which is explained by the fact that the light control and battery plate are housed in a separate control box. This gives you the flexibility you need to position your lighting perfectly. Shades for different light modifications can be attached directly to the device: The Bowens style reflector bracket is suitable for a wide range of models. The 5/8 inch base allows you to mount the continuous light on common lamp tripods or gallows.
For larger setups, you can save yourself some long distances by controlling the continuous light via radio remote control. Beside the appropriate antenna another one for Bluetooth reception is included. It allows you to control the light from Android - or iOS - devices instead of radio with the Godox Photo-App. Another option is of course the control via the controller with LCD - display. This way you can adjust the light output in 10-watt steps or 1-percent gap to the local conditions.
Independent of the mains supply with the battery operated continuous light
A special feature of the Godox VL300 is that you can use it without electricity. The LED continuous light photography battery not only has a 4-pin XLR power cable, but can also be operated by two optional V-Mount batteries. Protective cap and carrying bag are included.
