PHS-3C Desktop automatic calibration acid meter
The PHS-3C ph meter is a portable microprocessor based ph/mv/temperature meter. The convenient keyboard for selecting the various functions. The possibility of automatic correction of temperature errors and the extreme simplicity of regulation serve to enable quick and reliable execution of calibration and measurement. The display on the front panel shows the temperature ph or mv readings taken by the instrument. The device is supplied with a combined ph electron and probe for measuring and compensating the temperature.

Buffer recognition
Operation:
1. Connect AC power supply. Turn on the meter by "ON-OEF" switch on the back of the instrument
2. Connect the electrode to the iack back of the instrument
3. Remove the protective cap of the electrode. Put the electrode in the measured solution to be tested.
PH Calibration
1. Pour asmall amount of ph6.86. ph 4.00 and oh 9.18 solution into clean beakers.
2. For a particularly accurate calibration, it is recommended to use two beakers for each buffer solution; the first is to be used for rinsing the electrode, the second is to be used for calibration. In this way, the risks of contamination of the buffer solution are reduced to a minimum
3. Turn on the instrument.
4. Immerse the electrode in a pH 6.86 buffer solution and shake it gently until the reading stabilizes
5. Press the "cal" button until the calibration indicator is bright. Then press "ph7" until the display shows "6.86". Rinse the electrode with distilled water.
6.Immerse the electrode in a pH 4.00 buffer solution and shake gently until the reading stabilizes
7. Press the "cal" button until the calibration indicator is bright. Then press "ph4" until the display shows "4.00". Rinse the electrode with distilled water.
8.Immerse the electrode in a pH 9.18 buffer solution. Wait for the reading to stabilize until the display shows exactly 9.18.
9. The calibration of the pH range of the instrument is now complete
