Answer: Yes, it absolutely does

Answer: Yes, but why not use the charger that came with the vape deck? I use it and stay at 100%. Even streaming a movie on Netflix... any of them.

Answer: Yes, you can charge your deck and use the ports at the same time. I didn't use the HDMI port, but I did use the Ethernet and USB ports and it works great with the keyboard, mouse, and 360 controller.
Question: Will this dock work with Elgato Capture card?
Answer: yes
Question: does the dock regulate the output so that the maximum resolution is not selected automatically? Can you force the deck to output at 720 or 1080p with this dock?
Answer: As of a few patches ago you can do this in the steam deck. Choose a game you are playing docked > gear > properties > game resolution, choose what output you want to dock. Start the game. Native takes the maximum resolution slightly lower that will output to your TV/display.
Question: Will the dock fit on a steam deck with an enclosure?
Answer: Yes, there is space for the deck and case.
