The note
24-hour parking monitorOnly works on an external power source. When someone hits your car and the impact reaches the G-sensor level, the camera will turn on and record about 1-min video then it will lock and save it.
It is better always to connect the dash cam to the external power supply (hardwire kit), and you can buy the hardwire kit separately from the following link to get the full function.
How to use the 24 hours parking monitor function?
This function requires a special hardwire kit. The 4k dash cam support 24 hours parking monitoring only when it is connected with our hardwire kit (not included in the package).
Note: This dash cam will activate the parking mode function only when it is connected with our special hardwire kit, while other vendors' hardwire kit is not compatible with it. If you need a hardwire kit from us, please chat with us through the email.
