This product is applied to monitor the concentration of total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL) and triglyceride (TG) in human whole blood (peripheral whole blood or venous whole blood) in vitro by families, medical units, etc.
The analyzer applies the principle of photochemistry and is used with blood lipid test strips (ML-301). The whole blood sample to be tested is placed in the sample area of the strip. During rapid infiltration, the blood cells are filtered out or dissolved. The substrate reacts with enzymes and chemicals in the reaction layer and leads to color change, then the color intensity is proportional to the concentration of the substance. The analyzer tests the color intensity of the reaction endpoint at the wavelength of 620nm, the substance concentration is calculated by the reflection coefficient. The following formula is used to calculate the concentration of low density lipoprotein cholesterol in (LDL), the ratio of TC and HDL can also be calculated. LDL = TC-HDL-TG/5 (mg/dl) or LDL = TC-HDL-TG/2.2 (mmol/l)
